The Sculptra® treatment begins with the application of a topical anesthetic. This will help reduce any discomfort that may occur during the injection process. Once the skin is numbed, the Sculptra® formula will be injected into the desired treatment area. The exact location and number of injections performed can vary depending on your treatment goals. However, the injection process takes only a few minutes, so the Sculptra® treatment is often completed in less than 30 minutes.

What is the Sculptra® Recovery Process Like?

Sculptra®, like most injectable treatments, requires practically no downtime or recovery period. You can expect some swelling, redness, and bruising in the treatment area initially.
